This is a perfect class for intermediate painters! In this class we will take a recognizable subject, an orange, and break it down to create a completely abstracted composition: embracing color, line, and layers. Using a 12" x 16" canvas, I'll guide you step by step how to build a cohesive color palette, composition, and layer the paint accordingly. The result is an intimate abstract painting that has a ton of life and intrigue.
The supply list can be found in the supply list collection of your subscription library. All supplies are linked to my preferred suppliers, for easy online shopping.
Feel free to use comparable items that you have on hand, or through your preferred art supplier, but do try to stick to the suggested paint brand and color in order to achieve the desired color palette.
