Perfect for every level, this dynamic painting class uses a variety of paint applications and materials (acrylic paint, oil pastel) to create a balanced and fun extra large abstract painting on a 40" x 40" canvas. I'll guide you through how to create a color palette with lots of warm color (pinks, mauves, oranges and creams) that's grounded with earthy tones and touches of green pastel. We'll use a five point composition, building a comprehensive guide to how to place all of our paint so that the end result has the ease of abstract style, and the feel of a seasoned painter.
The rental is available for 30 days once accessed, and can be watched as many times as you'd like during that period.
A supply list is linked on the top navigation bar of this website, and all supplies are linked to Blick Art Supply, for easy online shopping. Feel free to use comparable items that you have on hand, or through your preferred art supplier, but do try to stick to the suggested paint brand and color in order to achieve the desired color palette.
